Synopsis

The Leningrad Cowboys initially produce music not in Leningrad, but on the far and wide Siberian plains. Despite the masterfully crafted compositions and grandiose instrumentation, no one cares about their music, and no one pays for it in the first place. Which weighs most heavily on the band's manager, Vladimir. With just a slight suggestion, the whole circus called the Leningrad Cowboys moves to the United States. And with an unusual cargo, which is a frozen bass player Silu Seppälä, stored in what looks like a bathtub. Aki Kaurismäki's comedy road-movie, starring his favourite Matti Pellonpää as the manager, screened at both the Toronto and Berlin festivals. A car salesman in the film is played by Jim Jarmusch.
